Tasting Notes: Paolucci Amaro Ciociaro was created by Vincenzo Paolucci in 1873 shortly after his move from the nearby Italian region of Abruzzo to Sora in Ciociaria and the Liri Valley, which is rich in herbs and spices such as gentian which he needed to produce this classic amaro. Bitterness is cut with strong citrus flavors, especially of orange, while floral and herbal undertones provide balance.
