Tasting Notes: Fattoria di Lamole produces only 1500 bottles of this extremely rare, declassified Sangiovese. These vines are grown on high elevation, west facing vineyards, where the cool mornings and long days preserve the wine’s acidity while allowing rich, ripe fruit flavors to develop. Their Antico Lamole project eschews the local DOCG rules, allowing the winery more flexibility in site location, winemaking, and wine maturation.
