In 2018, 29-year-old Giovanni took over the cellar, after gaining experience at top local wineries. Under his guidance, Borgogno Rivata shifted gears—abandoning chemicals in favor of copper and sulfur, adopting cleaner, bolder styles, and revamping their labels. The result? Wines with clarity, confidence, and a youthful edge.
