Tasting Notes: This Valpolicella Classico exhibits a brilliant ruby red hue and a character that is both simple and direct. The nose is immediately refreshed by fragrant notes of morello cherry and redcurrant, complemented by a pleasant balsamic touch. On the palate, the wine is agile and medium-bodied, with a satisfying return of the red fruit flavors and a decidedly savory, cleansing finish that encourages another sip.
Estate History: Azienda Agricola Venturini is a multi-generational family estate located in San Floriano, within the heart of the Valpolicella Classico hilly area. Established in 1963 by grandfather Antonio, the business was passed to his son Massimino, and is now run by Massimino's children: Daniele, who manages winemaking, Mirco, who tends the vineyards, and Giuseppina, who handles business operations. The estate spans 22 acres of high-elevation, southwest-facing vineyards planted on traditional terraced stone walls called "marogne," utilizing only estate-grown Corvina, Rondinella, and Molinara grapes to produce a range of high-quality Valpolicella wines.
