Tasting Notes: GioGio Rosso is 100% Freisa from 30-year-old vines and mixed soils of clay, marl, and limestone. Organic grapes, no filtration, and aging in cement result is a wine with expressive aromas of ripe cherry, crushed roses, and hints of cooked cranberries. The fruits are reflected on the palate and intertwined with hints of white pepper and subtle tannins, allowing the wine to finish with a bit more weight while remaining elegant. Production is under 6,500 bottles.
