Tasting Notes: Aromas of nutmeg, tobacco, and dried leaves are detected with traces of withered flowers. On the palate the Nebbiolo is held together by the softer yet balanced tannins that are laced with hints of dark cherry, rosemary, licorice, balsamic and a cleansing acidity.
Estate History: Mirafiore was founded in 1858 by Emanuele Mirafiore, son of Italy's King Vittorio Emanuele II. With its range of unique wines, highly distinctive in origin, character and personality, by the end of the century Mirafiore had become an epoch-making model for Italian winemaking.
