Tasting Notes: The Di Giovanna Rosato di Nerello Mascalese has a floral bouquet of pomegranate, citrus fruits and aromatic herbs. One of the first in Sicily to pioneer high-quality rosé in 2004, Brothers Gunther and Klaus Di Giovanna make this from 30 year old Nerello Mascalese vines grown on tufaceous soil in Contessa Entellina. The wine takes its name from a Sicilian poem Vurria, meaning "to wish for."
