Fiano is one of Italy’s most important white grape varieties. It grows in Southern Italy, principally in Campania in the Fiano di Avellino DOCG. Nearly lost to the phylloxera crisis, it was rediscovered in the 1970’s. The resulting wine is loaded with personality and verve, with spicy and nutty aromatic nuts that combine beautifully with tropical fruit flavors such as pineapple. It has many applications at the dinner table, from fresh seafood, roast pork, or prosciutto and hard cheeses. This once lost grape can now be found worldwide in restaurants and great wine shops. Eataly Vino is proud to feature the largest collection of Fiano wines in the world. Save 15% on a three pack of the same wine through August 30th, 2020! Taste, explore and discover! |
