Tasting Notes: Cupo is made from a selection of the best Fiano grapes from Pietracupa's vineyards. It is fermented in stainless steel and ages for 18 months on the lees. White flowers, mineral notes and tropical flavors all merge seemlessly in this stunning example of Fiano.
Estate History: The Pietracupa Winery was founded in the early 1990s, situated in Montefredane near Avellino, a mountainous terrain where elevation is key in producing wines with great character. Here, the young and talented Sabino Loffredo took over the running of the winery in 1999, and quickly gained a reputation within Italy and abroad for some of the best Greco and Fiano wines around.
