Tasting Notes: This single vineyard, 100% Sangiovese is organic certified. Leccio is the Italian name for holm oak. The vineyard is named for an alley of lecci that run alongside the vineyard. The wine is crafted from 25-year-old Sangiovese vines, grown in a diverse mix of soils, including clay, sand, and limestone. This terroir-driven blend yields a crystalline expression of Sangiovese, showcasing vivid notes of ripe cherry, tobacco leaf, and delicate hints of peppermint.
