It is owned and managed by Marco Ricasoli-Firidolfi, a descendant of Barone Bettino Ricasoli, who is credited as the "father" of Chianti Classico. The estate operates entirely organically, focusing on environmentally sound practices in both the vineyard and the cellar to produce wines that authentically express the unique terroir of their hillside location.
