Tasting Notes: The Pietracupa Greco di Tufo's ample body meets a high-toned acidity with notes of beeswax, stone and lemon peel. Greco's ability to age is on full display here, with older vintages showing notes of ripe blue cheese, candied lemon and dried herbs.
Estate History: Winemaker Sabino Loffredo of Azienda Vinicola Pietracupa is highly regarded for producing some of the best wines in Campania with high ageing potential from the great varieties Fiano, Greco di Tufo and Aglianico. Located in a small farm, within the province of Avellino, which best represents the terroir of Irpinia.
