Tasting Notes: The Kurtatsch Amos Bianco is a mountain white wine from the higher elevation Kurtatsch vineyards. A blend of Pinot Bianco, Chardonnay, Pinot Grigio, Kerner, and Sauvignon Blanc from the best handpicked white grapes from the coolest vineyards. To preserve its mountain freshness, no barrique is used. Long ageing on the fine lees in large wooden barrels adds complexity. Neutral Burgundy varieties constitute the compact foundation (70%) while Kerner and Sauvignon give the wine its seductive bouquet of white peach, apricot, flowers and citrus fruits. This results in a multilayered, incomparable mountain blend.
