Tasting Notes: The I Clivi Friulano San Pietro has hints of wild flowers, fine herbs and a mineral, almost sea air freshness. The palate is a walk through an apple orchard, with the crisp finish leaving the palate ready for another sip.
Estate History: I Clivi founder Ferdinando Zanusso was raised in the world of wine, his father made wine for his tavern in Treviso, in Friuli-Venezia-Giulia. After travelling and spending time in Paris, Ferdinando purchased a vineyard in Friuli in 1996 and soon after his son Mario, now at the helm of the estate, joined him. Vineyards are all worked by hand, dry farmed and certified organic, with vines from 50 to 80 years old.
