Tasting Notes: The Giuseppe Rinaldi Barolo Brunate is a deeply structured and powerfully aromatic expression of Nebbiolo. On the nose, it offers a refined bouquet of camphor, eucalyptus, and rose, with layers of dark cherry, dried herbs, and licorice. Juicy notes of Marasca cherry, crushed raspberry, and wild herbs unfold on the firmly built palate, leading to an impeccably balanced and energetic finish.
Estate History: Beppe Rinaldi took over the estate in 1983 from his father Guiseppe and slowly became noticed as one of the great old-school 'Barolistas' of the Langhe. After his passing in 2018, his daughters Marta & Carlotta fully took over. Marta had been responsible for the winemaking since the 2010 vintage, and with this new era, an even higher level of quality has emerged, marking G. Rinaldi as an absolute pinnacle of winemaking in the Langhe.
