Tasting Notes: The Giovanni Montisci Vino Rosso Barrolu is a unique red from Sardegna. Made from 40 year old organic Nebbiolo vines grown on the granite soils outside the village of Mamoiada, this is something truly special. While it doesn't conjure Barolo from Sardegna, what it does is show the masterful hand of Giovanni and the pedigree of Nebbiolo.
