Tasting Notes: After 15 years of working in the wine world, winemaker Davide Xodo finally realized his dream of opening a small winery in the hills south of Vicenzo. His property is just 3.5 hectares, planted with a wide array of both international and indigenous varieties. His Tai Rosso—the Venetian name for Grenache—is vinified according to his low-intervention philosophy. Fermentation is spontaneous and without temperature control. Aged in fiberglass for just six months, this is Tai Rosso at its crunchiest. Bright red fruits, menthol, and a tease of crushed stone complete the palate. Bottled unfined and unfiltered.
