About this Event: Eataly’s Vino Camp Series continues - join us this month to learn all about Rosé! Take part in a walk-around wine tasting focused on Italy's expression of this beloved summer wine. Throughout the night you will have the opportunity to taste more than a dozen types of rosé from Italy’s esteemed estates. Learn about the wines from the producers and experts themselves and enjoy a variety of Italian bites.

About Rosé: Made through a variety of methods, rosé gets is beloved rosy color from the skins of red grapes which ferment with the wine for a short period of time. Compared to red wines that ferment with the skins for weeks, rosé may only remain in contact with these skins for a few hours depending on the producers preferred method and color. Although any red grape variety can be used to make rosé the final flavors tend to be very red fruit forward, floral, and refreshing, making them a summer favorite! Known most commonly as rosé around the globe, Italian varieties are usually called rosato and boast the same history and tradition as the other famed wines found throughout the country.
