Tasting Notes: The Serafini & Vidotto Phigaia is bright red and rich in fruity notes of Amarena cherries, sour cherries and black currants, followed by elegant herbal nuances and fried pepper as well as coffee, vanilla bean and pink pepper.
Estate History: Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto, oenologists and farmers, founded the winery in 1986 at Nervesa della Battaglia, under the ruins of the Abazia (old Abbey), a place where between 1551 and 1555 Monsignor della Casa had written il “Galateo”, on the territory of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, which has ever since been famous for its red wines.
