Tasting Notes: The first impression of the Serafini & Vidotto Bollicine Rose is an interplay of fruity flavors and perfumes: there is an immediate scent of black currant, woodland strawberries, pomegranate and wild roses - later there is perfume of toasted bread. The entry in the mouth is fresh and pleasant and then the wine opens up to an enjoyable and increasing fruitiness. The finish is dry with a persistent impression of small wild berries and a flowery note. A truly delightful sparkling wine: enough berry and floral notes on the nose to make any bee happy, and plenty of fresh fruit on the creamy palate.
Estate History: Francesco Serafini and Antonello Vidotto, oenologists and farmers, founded the winery in 1986 at Nervesa della Battaglia, under the ruins of the Abazia (old Abbey), a place where between 1551 and 1555 Monsignor della Casa had written il “Galateo”, on the territory of the Serenissima Republic of Venice, which has ever since been famous for its red wines
