Tasting Notes: The high standards of Luca Roagna really come through in the Langhe Rosso, a wine made from the 'younger' vines in Pira in Castiglione Falletto (Barolo) and in Paje in Barbaresco. Most vines are 20-25 years old.. Many producers would craft a Barolo and a Barbaresco from these parcels, but not Luca. The wine dances on the palate, light -for a Nebbiolo - and energetic, a great entry to exploring the house winemaking style.
