Tasting Notes: This vibrant rosato pours a deep, concentrated pink, offering a rustic bouquet of crushed violets and wild strawberries. On the palate, it delivers a savory punch of pomegranate and tart cranberry, grounded by an earthy minerality that reflects its Salento roots. The mouthfeel is textured and energetic, finishing with a crisp, refreshing snap that balances its ripe fruit profile and makes it exceptionally food-friendly.
Estate History: Natalino del Prete operates a third-generation family farm in San Donaci, Puglia, where he has remained a steadfast practitioner of traditional "peasant" winemaking. The estate has been certified organic since 1994, though the family never adopted modern chemical fertilizers or pesticides even before certification became common. Managing old vines of Negroamaro and Primitivo, Natalino focuses on minimal intervention, using spontaneous fermentation in old concrete vats and bottling without filtration or added sulfur to preserve the raw character of the Puglian terroir.
