Tasting Notes: The crown jewel of the estate and its flagship. It is extraordinarily rare to find any of this wine, yet alone to buy some here in NYC! The wine is made in an identical manner to the Battistelle. What "drives the bus" here is the site; Roccolo del Durlo leans more salty and mineral while Battistelle really emphasizes juicy, succulent orchard fruit. All in all, it is a masterpiece of a wine. Drink this with Bollito Misto (boiled meat) accompanied by the famed Peara Sauce.
