The modern winery's story began in earnest in 1969 when the patriarch, Dauphin Grosjean, was encouraged to bottle his wine and present it at a local exposition, where its quality was recognized. This success led to the expansion of the vineyards, with the five Grosjean sons eventually joining the business. The estate adopted organic farming practices as early as 1975 and achieved full organic certification in 2011, a pioneering move for the region that highlights their commitment to the alpine environment and indigenous grape varieties. Today, the third generation guides the estate, continuing the family's legacy of crafting authentic mountain wines.
