Tasting Notes: This Chianti Classico Riserva spends two years aging in French oak and, same as the Chianti Classico, another in bottle. Despite it nearing its 10th birthday, this wine still has a striking acidity and fresh red fruit flavors. These youthful characteristics meld beautifully with its age. Bright cherry, coffee, smoke, plum preserves, and a touch of dark chocolate round out this Riserva.
