Tasting Notes: The Fabrizio Pratessi Carmignano Riserva Il Circo Rosso is a blend of 70% Sangiovese, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon, 5% Cabernet Franc, and 10% Merlot. A very intense ruby red color that is almost impenetrable, it opens with very wide aromas with hints of red and black berry fruit, chocolate, tobacco, cassis and evident spiciness. When tasted it is shows a powerful structure but also with a measured balance, a full, fine and balanced taste with silky, dense, voluminous tannins, juicy and balanced accompanied by a fresh acidity that extends into long and persistent fruity, floral and spicy notes. Deep and elegant finish.
