Tasting Notes: Called an "anthem to the founder's passion," "Maurizio Zanella" Sebino Rosso IGT is a bold blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc. Grown across 6 certified organic vineyards, each bunch is washed and dried before it enters the wine making process. This wine has an intense ruby color, with notes of plum, blackberry, spices, and mint. With great structure and acidity, this wine has potential to age even longer.
Estate History: The story of Ca' del Bosco begins in the mid-1960s when, in Erbusco, Franciacorta, Annamaria Clementi Zanella bought a small house on a hill, locally known as "Ca' del bosc" because it was surrounded by dense chestnut trees. The Ca' del Bosco fairytale is written in its wines, in the extensive weave of its vineyards, in the success dreamt of, desired and achieved by its author. Maurizio Zanella realized the potential of the land and has driven the estate to become the foremost producer of Franciacorta.
