Tasting Notes: Amaro nostrano comes from veneto and is a mix of natural extracts of herbs and citrus using artichoke for antioxidant qualities. glasswort, which provides mineral salts with a natural calming effect. Santonico, harvested wild from the marshes, juniper distillate, balsamic, sweet, and aromatic. Capers, vitamins with antioxidant properties.
Rhubarb, anti-inflammatory properties and purifying effects. Bitter orange, sharp and sweet citrus notes. Grapefruit, citrus notes, fresh, with energy-giving properties. Sage, characteristic mediterranean scent and digestive properties.
Try neat with ice and orange peel as an aperitivo or a digestive or with prosecco and soda water as a classic Nostrano spritz. We like it with ice, tonic water, cucumber and lots of sliced orange and strawberries as the perfect expression of a Venetian summer. This very versatile drink is also excellent over gelato.
