Tasting Notes: The brothers behind Geggiano, Alessandro and Andrea Boscu, prefer to keep their winemaking as simple as possible, so that their outstanding terroir in Tuscany’s esteemed Chianti Classico may speak for itself. While they reserve their older vines for their Chianti bottlings, the Bandinello Toscana Rosso is a delightful blend of their young Sangiovese, Syrah, and Ciliegiolo vines. Don’t let those young vines fool you—this wine is surprisingly hearty. The palate is composed of cassis, blue plums, black olive, and grilled herbs.
