Tasting Notes: The Fattoria Le Pupille Poggio Valente is 100% Sangiovese from the Maremma coast of Tuscany. The nose has hints of cherry and red-berry fruit followed by more complex aromas of laurel, juniper, leather and tobacco. On the palate the wine is elegant and well-balanced, with sweet and silky tannins that frame the earthy fruit and rich, full body.
