Estate History: Founded in 2004 by three local families, Tenuta San Francesco is located in the rugged hills of Tramonti within the Costa d'Amalfi DOC. The estate was established to preserve and promote the region’s ancient viticultural heritage, specifically focusing on pre-phylloxera vines that are often over a century old. These massive, ungrafted vines are cultivated on steep, hand-carved terraces, where the winery continues the tradition of heroic viticulture to produce wines that reflect the unique volcanic and limestone landscape of the Amalfi Coast.
