Tasting Notes: Translucent, pale pink. Elegant with floral, fruity, herbaceous aromas such as white flowers, berries, red currant, nectarine, apricot, lychee, melon, gentle touch of white pepper. Dry, medium acidity, low tannin, medium body. Delicate flavors influence the aromas, resulting in a long finish.
Estate History: Azienda Agricola Monte del Frà started with just a few hectares of vines in Custoza 65 years ago. Custoza was not then (and unfortunately still is not) a well-known or respected zone. Yet, they were so successful making delicious wines there that it fueled their growth to 240 hectares in every one of the Veronese appellations, with 140 owned and another 100 leased. While they have been making quality wine at all the properties, the Custoza wines are where it all began and are their pride and joy.
