Tasting Notes: The La Distesa Gli Eremi is the definition of a "mineral" white wine, yet full-bodied with a chewy, velvety mouthfeel. An electrifying feeling on the palate, with spicy white pepper notes, herbs and wet, stony minerals on the finish.
Estate History: La Distesa produces this Verdicchio in a 1/2 hectare vineyard in Cupramontana, aka "The Capital of Verdicchio." these organically farmed grapes are vinified in 12 hectoliter oak barrels, aged on the lees and released two years after harvest.
