Tasting Notes: The Fonzone Fiano di Avellino is a classic and vibrant straw-green color. The aromatic profile is a knockout with aromas reminiscent of citrus, orange blossom, lime, apple, pear and mint and almond paste. The palate is fresh and balanced, viscous, and very persistent, closing long with a hint of lemon peel.
Estate History: Lorenzo Fonzone Caccese began the Fozone winery in 2005 in Paternopoli, the heart of Taurasi, where his family has lived since the 1800s. The hill covers about thirty hectares that was almost completely wild originally, and vineyards coexist with fruit trees, olive groves and woods, along a road that connects the main house to the cellar.
