Estate History: Castello di Argiano was a ruined medieval castle surrounded by overgrown wild land when Giuseppe "Giugi" Sesti purchased the property in the 1970s. An expert in ancient astronomy and a cultural director, Sesti originally used the Tuscan estate to raise his family and host music festivals before systematically clearing the brush to plant vineyards, releasing his first commercial vintage in the 1990s. Today, his daughter Elisa manages operations, maintaining her father's traditionalist winemaking philosophy that strictly aligns organic and biodynamic vineyard practices with the cycles of the moon and stars.
