Estate History: Located just six kilometers southwest of the historic town of Montalcino, the Pian delle Vigne estate was acquired by the renowned Marchesi Antinori family in 1995. The property spans approximately 186 hectares, with roughly 65 hectares dedicated to vineyards situated at elevations ranging between 130 and 250 meters above sea level. Named after a local 19th-century railway station situated on the grounds, the estate is deeply rooted in a philosophy that combines modern precision with classic winemaking traditions, focusing exclusively on aging its 100% Sangiovese crops in large, traditional oak casks to preserve the pure, terroir-driven character of the region.
