Tasting Notes: The Castello di Verduno Barolo Riserva Monvigliero shows incredible virile power in a traditional mid-weight frame. Succulent red cherry, cedar, tobacco and dried herbs open nicely with time in the glass, showing the wine to have a great open-knit sense of class and marking it as ready to drink but with ability to age gracefully for a decade or more.
