Tasting Notes: Barolo Castelletto is the wine that most represents Fortemasso, with a distinctive elegance that best expresses the characteristics of the region. The vineyard in Castelletto is planted on slopes facing east/southeast, in sandy and limestone-rich soil. In the glass it is a bright, brilliant ruby red color with slight orange highlights. The nose is clear and pervasive, with delicate notes of violet, spices, hay and tobacco.
